I went to start my car this morning. The first crank, my engine turned, but the second time i tried i got nothing. I have checked the alternator, battery, and starter. i have no dome lights, or any kind of power in the cab of my car. the car is a 87 olds 442. If anyone can give me some help it would be appreciated.

And just what did you check on those items? That they were there? Jump start this thing and really check the items. This may just need charging the battery or a new one, T

i had taken the alternator out and checked at a shop, then did the same thing with the battery and starter. i believe it was either the wires to the starter wasnt tight enough or the connection to the battery wasnt right. i did get it started today, after i did a couple things to it.

Ok: The battery connections at both ends would explain this. Take a good luck at the battery end of the cables. Those don't always last too well. If you find just that end bad they do make just ends - not the temporary type - that are high quality and work well, T
