jus wondering Sign In

ok i have a gmc sonoma 01 4cly 2.2L its has a standard tranny and the hydraulic clutch hose got cut i know that it is a high pressure hose but would there be anyway to splice it together to save me from spending 200 dollars on a whole new clutch master cylinder ....................... any comment will help thanks

like a brake line you should be able to just replace that section of the system.

If this is metal line broken then same as brake line repair as dmac said - not all the hard.

If this is the flex hose it may not be that expensive to just get a new one and bleed it out which can be a pill either way now as it's leaked out.

If the flex hose really is going to be very expensive and involved it might be repairable with the correct hydraulic fittings and crimpers not in most shops but is done for A/C hoses.

You really shouldn't fix flex hose with plain tube and clamps as I think there's significant pressure even for a clutch,
