post icon overpressure in coolant system? Sign In

ShockedTrying to find coolant leak. Filled radiator, started engine with cap off as I've often done in the past, coolant shot out of filler opening like a geyser. With cap on, coolant flows out of overflow reservior. Any ideas?

it could be air in system or very hot or head gasket what kind of car would be helpful
