So I am thinking off putting power steering into my 1957 chevy truck. Does anyone know where to lead me to start? Anyone know what parts would work for my truck for example if I can go to a pick and pull and grab the stuff needed it will probably be something that I can talk my wife into letting me do it, to cut cost.

If you can find a pump with mounting brackets for the same engine you have, that will work and then a steering box that matches the chassis your using. You may have to custom make the hoses but that should be all you need.
You will need the pump complete with associated drive pulleys and belts.

kwestfall; If memory serves, power steering wasn't offered in Chev trucks until '58, and then only on the V8s. Like I said, if memory serves.Unsure
