Your call and especially if aftermarket think hard about getting that properly removed it will only leave you stranded or cause problems as it is now, T dennishazard User Sep 6, 2017, 7:01 AM Post #3 of 4 (1366 views) Re: remote start Sign In Ok I'll check wires, it is not after market by the way, and the warning lite does not come on all the time, there is a button type switch mounted near the battery and switch seems ok, I've tried to look up new switch, but not having any luck, would this switch be the only one or is there more near the latch ? If you can push on it then see if it changes inside - helper needed. I've glued a lot of pennies on ones not adjustable to it's just that tough tighter when closed - any, side doors etc. If a switch/contact must make electrical contact pennies prior to about 1980 are solid copper! New ones are not!
