My remote starter will not start the car when the engine is cold. Once the engine is warm - the remote works every time. (excaliber remote)

Hard to help with this; not without being there, in person to test things? The interface between the remote start’s electronics and the vehicle's electronics; sometimes don’t always mix as intended.
I would suggest taking the vehicle into someone that installs & services this brand of remote start.
There maybe an up-dated controler to address this problem?
