replacing left front rotor on 94 mercury villager minivan.question is do I need to bleed all 4 wheels or can I just do the left front ? thanks

You don't have to bleed the brake system if your just replacing a rotor. Only time you need to bleed the system is if you open the hydraulic system such as replacing a master cylinder, line, hose, caliper, or wheel cylinder.

Bleed in this order.

Left front brake
Right front brake
Left rear brake
Right rear brake.

That will depend on whether you let the master cylinder go all the way dry while your changing the caliper. If you can pinch off the flex hose with something that doesn't have sharp edges, it will prevent that. As long as fluid remains in the master, you will only have to do the one wheel. I must advise you though, you should be changing both calipers, not just one.
