have a 1988 jeep comanchee with an in kine 6 4.0 5 speed after it sits for a while sometimes i have trouble starting it, i have to spray starter fliud in the breather/ it only happens when engine is cold. i replaces the fuel filter

The first thing you'll need to do is check the fuel pressure when it's cold using a fuel pressure gauge.

Here's what the spec is


Fuel Pressure

Note: Engine at curb idle.

Vacuum hose connected 31 psi
Vacuum hose disconnected 39 psi
