I noticed last evening that my steering wheel was rattling ever so lightly back and forth. When driving down the road it would pull a little to the left.

Is the pulling occuring when the brakes are applied? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Sitting still, with your hands off the wheel but looking at it and the steering wheel unlocked, start the engine and watch to see if the steering wheel jumps at all when the car starts. Did it move? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

If your getting this while sitting still and not moving, that rules out the wheels and brakes. It would have to be examined but it sounds like there may be a problem with the pump.
