testing for fuel volume Sign In

 If you bypass the fuel pump relay and use a fuel pressure gauge and at the same time hold the relief button down for 15 seconds and you get a half pint of fuel or more, would this be an adequate fuel volume test. (there is nothing wrong with my vehicle I was just curious about this).

No, that's not an accurate test. Don't even worry about the volume. If your not having a pressure problem, then volume isn't an issue. The system only burns about 10% of what it pumps anyway. The rest gets returned to the tank.
