I have an 84 s10 2 barrel 2.8 v6. truck was setting for 3 years. went to move it out of the driveway and won't start. I have replaced the fuel pump. replaced the coil for distributor. got it running. well sort of. lol. it idles rough. and when you give it gas it runs a little better. when you give it a little more gas it wants to flood. what might be the issue?

sitting for ONLY 3 years and a problem.... IDK.
Did you do anything before starting - new fuel, fuel filter, oil, remove plugs, spin eng over.
Basics, check for spark at ALL plugs, vacuum leaks, exhaust blockage*, A carb kit and some cleaner might help - not my favorite carb the varijet -http://c777913.r13.cf2.rackcdn.com/varajet_service_manual.pdf
*so many mice/rodent stories here

That carb has to be all gummed up after 3 years.

Make sure the carb's not getting crappy fuel and you have fuel pressure , then there's a fuel bowl with a little a needle valve to fill the fuel bowl and tiny vents to mix it with air .This was all before computers . It's gummed up , if you want to take it apart pay attention to every little detail and understand how it all works . Like so many small engines that don't start once you clean it up and get the fuel flowing a few pulls and they start right up .

Think 1984 folks: The very materials used for the seals of everything for this carb plus the vacuum operated parts will have failed from ethanol if used daily by now need a redo without having sat for 3 years.
Nasty sucker to redo and nasty costly for a new one tolerant of alcohols.
IMO a failed design new without the current history and a rock and hard place to get out of it now. Big bucks and finding both parts that are compatible and a person or place that can do crap about it. Owned this exact one, free for extent of work needed - most time ever spent to make it run right ever, period.
The hunt should be where and who is going to do what for it now,
