Hi I overhauled a 400 trans for my pick-up. I work for chevy and at work we always install
a new converter with a trans repair, I was wondering if I could use my old converter,I had a bushing go bad but not much stuff in the pan can I flush out my old converter it wrks great

I wouldn't recommend it. It is next to impossible to flush out a torque converter if it is not in the car. Even still with a transmission rebuild, spend the extra bucks, it will be worth it to keep from having to do the job over later.
