tilt steering in a '78 camaro???

I'm trying to change my tilt steering bearings on my '78 camaro, i have the steering wheel and lock plate off, but i can't get the housing piece off, is there some kind of trick to it??? help please, i'm getting frustratedCrazy

It is mounted with 3 bolts..(torx I believe)
Necessary to remove the turn signal switch screws and screw that holds the turn signal stalk to the switch..
Also need to remove the ignition lock cylinder,usually mounted with a small torx screw...some have a release tab that has to be pushed in...you will have to turn the ignition on first,remove the little switch with the 2 long copper pieces and a small clip should come out too...note how its oriented so you can put it back together properly.
When removing the housing,there will be a small plastic piece that will fall out on the left side of the column,that is for the dimmer switch.

Also you will need to remove both tilt pins on both sides of the housing.... little round pins with threads in the center for pulling tool to remove....After of course you've 1st removed the tilt spring
