I just installed new u joints at a local shop on my truck (took the drive shaft in). I also had the drive shafted shortenbed as I am installing a different motor/tranny combo. The weird thing is once I found u joints to fit I assumed the u joint at the rear diff was the same size on all 4 corners but the hubs on the drive shaft side are larger than the hubs that fit into the rear diff yoke. Is this right or do I have something weird going on?? Thanks for your input. This is on a 67 Chev truck SWB and am swaping a 350/350 to a 454/400 combo

Some of those old Chevy's can be a PITA to match up the u joints. There are some that have different sized caps, so you do have to be careful to make sure you are installing the correct ones..... Hopefully you still have the old one that worked.... You may have to take that one down to the parts house to get matched up..........
