1988 toyota land cruiser 4.6 225,000 i snapped my water pump belt. found that the water pump pulley wobbled and would freeze up(not move) until turned counterclockwise. have removed everything in the way of the water pump. removed the two bolts and the two nuts holding the pump on. have the water pump loose 1/4 inch all the way around seal. will not move further. nothing is blocking the removal the part is just stuck. any advise?

Make real sure that there are no bolts that you missed and if not, get a hammer and tap down on the pulley or pulley mounting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
