winshield washer Sign In

windshield washwon't work on driver side only. looking at it it has 1 hose from tank. sprayed canned air in whole on hood still not working, can't find one single hose for that side. car is 2000 sable. help can't see especially w/ all the pollen

there is one hose and it goes under the plastic piece that all the pollen is on. A spray can won't have the pressure to clear it. You will have to pull of the wiper arms to unscrew the plastic piece. Look closely and be gentle, as not all of these fasteners are right there to see. When you pull up the piece you can see the hose and where it tees off to go to the other nozzle. Get a rubber tip blow gun hooked to an air compressor and try blowing backwards from the nozzle through the line. Make sure the line is unhooked when you do this. When you get good air coming out, hook it back up and test it. This isn't a big orifice in the nozzle, and sometimes they clog up.
