Did you buy this car from someone else?

Or does the water look rusty, or brown?

If rusty, you will need to get this flushed out very well.... and look for leaks....

BUT....

It seems like someone might have put a conditioner or some form of additive... (on a personal note I've added a conditioner and my radiator looks like a light brown milk....

If this is the case you may just want to flush out the radiator or have it flushed out.... does hurt and this should be done every 30-50,000 miles.

YOu issue is one of two simple but expensive problems. either you have a blown intake manifold gasket (more than likely), or a blown head gasket. This causes the oil and coolant to mix inside the engine. normally they keep themselves seperated like oil and water but at high operating temperatures they break down and will mix. this is the cause of your "chocolate milk". have the gasket replaced soon to avoid hydrolocking your engine.

what are some symptons of this? my coolant water is murky too, and my car recently starting laboring through gears..it loses juice, stalls, and jerks ahead. ive added carb cleaner recently too..could it be 2 separate unrelated things?
