im having a problem with my heater in my 1992 honda civic dx. the air will come out but with not change in temperature.on cold days the air will come out cold and on hot days it throws the hot air (a/c wont work but i know its due to the necessity of freon). does the freon affect the heating? i've changed all the fuses for the heater, checked the coolant levels in both the radiator as well as the reservation. i've recently got this car about 3 months ago, so im not quite sure since when has the car had this problem, or what led to it. i've asked my neighbor for help, and he told me it must some kind of power shortage, since the cables in the inside and outside do get quite warm when i turn the heater on. sorry for the lack on knowledge on this, not to familiar with parts, ect. alex

alex: It doens't matter whether there's "Freon" in it or not for heater. If the hoses to and from heater core are getting warm and there's no heat whatsoever then the request for temp could be at fault or a diverter door. Does engine show a normal temp reading at the gauge? T
