I put a new compressor and a new accumulator a/c working fine I thought. but when I first crank up the engine and a/c the a/c lines freeze up but I can turn off a/c for awhile and when they unfreeze it works fine and doesn't freeze up any more ant ideals ?

Check the low pressure cycling switch. That should be preventing that.

That switch should be cycling the compressor off at approx 20-25 PSI and coming back on at 40-46 PSI.
