Check the low pressure cycling switch. That should be preventing that. That switch should be cycling the compressor off at approx 20-25 PSI and coming back on at 40-46 PSI. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
