Air only Blows When Driving. Sign In

well I have had this problem for a while now. My a/c and heat only blow out when i am driving. when i am at a standstill with my car nothing comes out. any help is much appreciated.



I own a 1996 Dodge Dakota 2wd

Strange?? Do you mean the blower motor doesn't work when still but does when moving?

yeah, it's weird. It's like the faster i go the more the air blows out. when i am at a stand still i get nothing. but heat and a/c both work....while driving. its just hard during the winter.

Some air will flow with just the air speed over the car. Sounds like the blower isn't working at all. If that's the case then chase down whether power even gets to the motor,
