Heater stopped working

Hi everybody. The other day I started up my van, turned on the heat, and immediately smelled burning rubber. After a few seconds the fan stopped working altogether. Do you think it's just a belt or is it the blower motor. Thanks for any advice you can give! (Edit) sorry, the van is a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country.

I don't know what one has to do with the other. The blower motor has nothing to do with the engine belt. If the blower isn't working after a burning smell, then it's likely a bad motor, assuming you don't have a dead animal stuck in it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
