Orafice tube removal/replace Sign In

I have a 98 Explorer, 5.0 8 cyl, 2 w/d. Can anyone show me the location of orifice tube and what type of connector holds it in place? I have the haynes manual but doesn't show how to remove tube. I think I see it but it has a weird plastic connector and don't want to break it if possible. Thanks.... Just wanted to say also I found this forum a few days ago and has been a great help..Thanks all !! Randy

The tube is located in the evaporator inlet pipe. Just remove the line and you will see it.

The connector is just a "safety" holder to keep the spring lock connector together.
It should just pop off but you'll need the spring lock tool to get the line apart.

Any parts store should sell them.....
