chev pannel van 2500 Sign In

2004 pannel chev van 2500, when drawing a vaccum to get the low side to go to -29 i have to turn the high side valve, and when i turn the high side off the low side goes back to 20

If vacuum doesn't hold on the gauges with the valves closed, you have a leak somewhere in the system or your gauge set.

You should be able to "vacuum" just your gauge set without the van. If set's "park" spots for the connectors are not sealing I'd make up sealing dummy ports to test set.


Sorry to say a whole lot of affordable gauge sets really stink and not all so called high end ones are so special either so worth being able to test them and a there is a good reason to be able to vacuum out your set as well, -- keep air out of even lines,
