heater blowing cold air

hello i have a 1996 ford f250 the heater blows cold air. i have changed the thermostat, all of the controls appear to be working is my next step the heater core even though it isnt leaking and there is no smell of anti freeze. please help winter is coming on. thank you

This could be a lot of things and probably not plugged up but a control issue. If you do suspect it's clogged up flush it out forwards and backwards. Go easy with water pressure. I don't think that's it though. Check out the heater hoses and see if there's a valve and the hose goes cold after it. It's still a question as to the valve or control of it, Best I can do for now, T
