orifice tube location 93 Chevy S-10 Sign In

Can anyone tell me the location of the orifice tube in a Chevy S-10 Blazer with the 4.3L engine ?

Here is a picture. It is located in evaporator line (number 5). It is bach by the accumulator (number 6). You will see a connector there. It is located in that line below the connector.

Thank you so much. I could not find this picture in either Haynes or Chilton.

I may have a question or two later. This system was "converted" MAYBE. The only thing I know for sure is that someone put R-134 Hi and Low ports on the lines. They didn't replace anything else. No label either.

There was zero static pressure, so the compressor would not come on. I'm going to start with flushing the system, replacing dryer, replacing orifice tube and "O" rings and generally troubleshooting system. When I "jump" the compressor, the clutch kicks in.

"O" tube may show damage if clogged up. Don't forget a well held vacuum before the charge up,
