Wanting to know potential names of the parts I'd have to get based on these images and what I might cost me. I'm not sure what other information I can provide, but if you need to know something I'll try my best to provide you with it.

looks like lower ball joint - and MAYBE the lower control arm that will need to be inspected when installing the ball joint. Google away for 1999 S10 blazer lower ball joint and lower control arm should get you a ball park price for PARTS but that does not include labor or unsean items labor is @2hrs each and figure @100$hr. PS driving is NOT recommended!!

Check on a whole lower control arm that used to come with ball joint installed and I think chance that bushings were new or a good time to do those. Tidbit of opinion and no harm meant but these are a bit of a pill to grease and virtually don't come apart from wear like that if done on a serious schedule, like not more that 3,000 miles and even so it's not nice but some places kinda skip over some fittings. Consider just doing both sway bar pins too and do check the other joints totally out. If one went makes you wonder, T

OMG....and just think there are people driving on the same road you drive on with vehicles like this. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Scary DS and all. Note ZERO grease showing anywhere! Had to look and this does come with joint and bushings as a whole unit. Note OP again check everything to do with greasable joints on this as it looks like it's about never been touched. Alignment is certainly in order also. You asked how much and given times listed for one and it doesn't look like it's rust complicated so shouldn't be more than a usual but perhaps other things will be noticed and or suggested like flex hose to brakes and whatever might be holding this on at all taking a hit. Part showed if correct about $106.00 complete with joint and bushings. Forget the prices and do it up or push it aside but don't drive this thing at all! Low miles doesn't mean these things are too early to happen. It went neglected and nobody ever checked IMO and such things can give no warning. Part looks like this by itself or close if pic is not exact.......... The cost is irrelevant it has to be done, T
