2005 Suzuki Verona - 2.5 - 91,000 miles Today on my way to school I was about to stop at a stop sign and my car started going to the right. I turned the wheel to the left and the car kept moving in the same direction. I stopped, turned the car off and back on and my steering was back. The wheel felt extremely loose and didn't effect the direction of the wheels at all. I drove the rest of the way to school normally. Imagine if I was on the highway and I lost steering. That's nearly a guaranteed wreck. Thank you for any replies.

Do not drive the vehicle anymore. Have it towed to your mechanic. They should be able to inspect the steering system to see what is going on. Too dangerous to drive in that condition. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
