Can you replace the bushing in the right and left rear knuckles. I can't find bushing anywhere for a 2012 traverse. Can find them for a 2011. Would they be the same. Pease don't tell me I will have to replace both knuckles. There is play on both sides lower bushing. Thank you for any info you can give.

Just what part is this bushing you are seeking part of. It's hard to use the name of exactly what part is called so perhaps your search should use names like "control arm" strut, or hopefully a drop down of a list of names. IDK - can't help if I don't know exactly what you are looking for. Will say if you do much of anything to suspension or brake anything to one side you should do the other also so they match AND many replacements will require a full alignment. Naming the part is critical. I suspect you found for one model year older an entire assembly not just one part of it? Good luck if you can post a picture here you are already doing better than most - a link to a photo host site is permitted may help then we can look up info about what this part is and what it would involve to repair, T

After looking at some dealer part break downs, it looks like the knuckle bushing for a 2011 will work in a 2012. The knuckle part numbers are the same. Have you compared the 2011 knuckle bushing to yours? Have you contacted dealer parts? The part number for the bushing isn't showing up on my end. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

The full name of the part is, control arm bushing rear at knuckle. Talked to the parts guy at my chevy dealer. He looked up the knuckle and the 2011 and 2012 are the same part number. He said its same part to 2018. He could not find bushing for 2012. But could find bushing for 2011. He said the 2011 bushing will fit the 2012. Have to change both sides to do a 4 wheel alignment.

Yuk - Parts snag. IDK, maybe this one bushing is being phased out for selling only the whole control arm with all parts as an assembly? Try asking for whole assemblies and maybe be surprised the whole thing for both sides so it can end up totally right isn't going to cost all that much more if at all. it's possible the aftermarket is getting in on this and you and dealer are finding what's left over already made not making more or some fool thing too many didn't work out unless whole units were replaced. Yes, do both side equally and do get the full 4 wheel alignment when all done and right again, T
