I have a 2007 Dodge Charger SXT 3.5 liter V6 High Input with 103000 miles on it. Well when I'm driving, when it comes time to shift from 3rd gear into 4th gear it wants to stick and take a few seconds(you can feel the car jump) and then shifts. Sometimes when its shifting from 3rd to 4th and I have to hit the brakes it will jump and the RPMs will go up but the MPH won't and the car will start slowing down. I've tried putting the car into neutral and back into drive but it doesn't help. I have to stop the car and put it in park then back into drive for it to accelerate.

You need this to be checked by a shop that has a professional scan tool that reads transmission codes. The generic code readers at the parts store don't do this. Chrysler puts a lot of electronic controls into their transmissions and there should be some codes present in the transmission module that will point in the direction of the trouble. Might be worth paying the diagnostic fee to a reputable transmission shop to see what there is to see.
