1999 FORD EXPEDITION, 4X4, 5.4 L - THERE ARE MULTIPLE CLANKS OR WHAT FEELS LIKE A CHAIN JUMPING ON A SPROCKET BENEATH THE DRIVERS SEAT AREA WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A DEAD STOP THROUGHOUT THE AUTOMATIC TRANS SHIFTING PROCESS. IT IS ESPECIALLY BAD WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD COMPARED TO ONCE THE ENGINE WARMS UP. WHEN I SAY COLD I AM SPEAKING OF ENGINE ONLY. THE PROBLEM IS THERE WHETHER IT IS 90 DEGREES OR 30 DEGREES

IDK but I'd be under there with all four wheels off ground with a helper fighting the brakes just enough to see if that will show exactly where this noise is coming from. If no luck let a trans shop identify the problem. Fix it early while it might be inexpensive no matter what,
