2002 chevy blazer engine replaced recently w salvage engine unknown miles the problem I'm having is @ 50mph or so the tyranny acts like it is going in neutral for just a split second it only happens once in a while and sporadically sometimes it doesn't do it at all I drive to work only about 15 miles per day all highway very little start/stop it also only works in 2 wheel drive which is fine just letting u know in case it may have some relationship to trans issue

"CEL" means Check Engine Light. There can be codes there even if not staying lit. You don't run them try if a place like Autozone commonly does them for free or pay for a high end code reading. The reader you need it really too costly for a one time deal - thousand$, T

What should I expect to pay for a high end reading from a garage

try the free scan - most auto parts stores do as a free service to sell parts. try it free !! get codes and post here. If you are not doing any work yourself - often scanning is included with the repair - the nominal charge would be @100 -150$ just for scan
