2006 dodge darango Shift solenoid A Sign In

I'm working on a 06 darango 5.7hemi that had a code p0750.
Can anyone tell me whitch solenoid is solenoid A?
Is there anything else on the top of your heads you can think of that would set the code?

Just checked limited data available to me for this. Two sensors listed - one for trans speed and other for which gear it's in.

Check that things are all plugged in to trans and no wires rubbing or failed that could fool codes. Best I can do short of buying one and match it up if really needed,

Most of those Chrysler solenoids are sold as a solenoid pack with all in one unit.

Re: 2006 dodge darango Shift solenoid A Sign In

I believe your rite, cause i can only buy them from a dealer and there like $360 bucks.
I put the truck in first gear and 2nd a couple times and reset the code and the drivability problem was gone, It felt like it was stuck in 2nd gear cause of the real sluggish takeoffs.

If it's a solenoid pack, it's sounds like there inside the tranny and the pan will have to come off rite?

I looked around the tranny real good and theres a few plastic solenoid sensor looking things on both sides of it.

I'm a GM guy and don't work on newer chrysler stuff much which means i have no books for this truck.Unsure

Thanks HT and Tom!

Mr. Scotty - if fine now and doesn't set another code if it were mine I forget it for now. Loren Champlain Sr. - a mod here is strong with Mopars and has owned a couple full size trucks. He's not around much anymore - no problem just hit him up with a PM and he'll get back to you,

Not strong with Mopars since Valiants and Darts were around like litter now prehistoricWink

I totaly agree, But the owner doesn't want to even drive the truck even after she drove it and said it drove perfect..Unsure It's not mine so I'll have to wait and see what she wants to do.

Re: 2006 dodge durango Shift solenoid A Sign In

I hear you and her. IMO this could have just gone into a "limp" mode for who knows why now? Static electricity or something stupid. If it Didi it again then time to act or if she afraid of it risk what seems like will be expensive for what ain't broke or showing it right now and if it did it again after that chase it down.

Basically we agree and especially since it didn't strand her I'd wait a period of time for a recurrence as said. She has to decide as you mentioned but without it constantly acting up should be IMO told that the real reason isn't known yet.

Good luck,

Tom
