2016 Expedition leaking transmission Sign In

A few weeks ago the local ford dealership changed my oil. During that change the tech forgot to put in a new oil filter after taking the old one off. He started it up and all the oil came pouring out. He ran it for maybe 20 to 30 seconds until shutting down the engine. Now I have a significant transmission fluid leak and I am wanting to know if the two can be related. Ford Expedition 100k miles 2016. Sorry not sure the engine size right now but can check if it would be helpful.

No, there is no connection to those two things.

First you need to have to leak diagnosed to determine if it's even in the area they worked in.

Thank you. I didn't think so but it was almost immediate so it made me just want to check. Taking it in is next on my list.
