2017 Ford Focus S Clutch noise Sign In

I just recently had my clutch and slave cylinder replaced it has less than 100 miles on it. When I am in neutral and I let go of the clutch there’s is a rattling noise but it will go away when I’m pressing the clutch down on the floor. Does anyone know why this is happening? Should this be happening when I just replaced the clutch?

This site has a trans expert hope he'll be by soon but till then:
You just did this 100 miles ago I suggest rush right back to where it was done it should not be making any noise.

Just curious how many miles you have on a 2017 (anything standard shift) to need a clutch at all? Hydraulics can go just IMO a bit soon for a wear out if so,

If the noise goes away when the clutch is depressed, that would indicate a transmission issue, not a clutch issue.
We'll see what Gary has to say about it.

Hello,
well, i'm thinking maybe if this has a dual mass flywheel that could be it or the the gears inside the trans, was the fluid changed in the transmission? Gary
