Before the engine & transmission fluid warm up, reverse works acceptably well. Thirty minutes of driving in the summer & B A M , don't plan on using reverse to back up with out your foot out the door on the ground pulling a Flinstone reverse w/ foot manuver. Hopefully thinking changing the fluid & the filter might work, I did so. Ha, not this time. Will adding bleach to the transmission "swell " the reverse belt allowing reverse to function in my daily driving ventures ?

The tranny is fried. Everything your doing now is just increasing the damage and repair costs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
