1994 NiSSAN Quest 3.0lt ,Automatic, 180k miles.... I was driving out of my driveway the other night when the front of the car, after driving at 5mph over a small bump, totally bottomed out and hit the pavement really really hard. The car actually stopped, it literally crashed on the pavement. I stopped the car and checked to see if there was something wrong. There was. Red fluid was flawing (not just leaking) from under the car, front side close to the left (drivers side) wheel. A neighbor came out to see what was going on, saw the fluid and because it was red he said it is probably transmission fluid. I pushed the car back in my parking spot and left it since. within the next 30 minutes the liquid was all gone. Needless to say i didnt try to start the car since I have no idea what to do next?? I also have no money to tow the car to a repair shop... Any help or views welcome! THanx

If you don't have money to tow it to a repair shop, then you'll likely be walking for a while. You obviously damaged something pretty bad, probably the pan for the trans but you also could have cracked the transmission open. It needs to be inspected on a lift to find out how bad it is and it's not drivable this way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
