MY CAR REVS UP WHEN I HAVE MY FOOT ON THE BREAK AND TONIGHT IT STARTED REVING UP AT A STOPLIGHT AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY HARD TO TURN AND THE BREAK HARDLY WORKED AND I HAD 3 KIDS IN THE BACKSEAT...HELP I AM SCARED TO DRIVE IT AND I AM STILL PAYING WAY TO MUCH ON IT!!!!!!!

sounds like might have vacuum leak and or booster issues.. Not to sure what the hard steering issue could be I was reading there is a recall for P/S pump pulley on your vehicle. With car running and hood open see if you can hear any hissing/whistling sounds look at booster see if hose is disconnected.

Agree with Z on the booster for brakes. Steering may be a loose belt and can't handle the higher RPMs,
