Need help identifying transmission Sign In

I have a 4 speed transmission I got at an auction on a pallet a while back with some other things I wanted. I'm trying to ID it so I can do something with it. It doesn't look to be old school. It is a 1 piece aluminum case. Has almost a square pan on the bottom with 12 bolts. The shifter has a tapered chrome sleeve on it. The bell housing is straight across the top with the 2 top bolts being about 4-1/4 inches apart. Next to them on the left is an alignment pin hole. The bell housing is approx 12-1/2 inches and is almost round. Most importantly and I think this might give it away, is the starter recess is on the upper left side. Once upon a time I thought I had figured out that this was from some model S10 but that could be a false memory. Any help would be appreciated.

I should have mentioned this is a 4 sp. MANUAL transmission. Thanks

Could be a FM146 that was put in Ford Rangers.

No, my bell housing is not removable. I do have a '89 V6 Ford BII tranny here and the 2 top bolt spacing is wrong and the starter is on the left bottom. Maybe it's from the 4 cyl. model

Can you take a picture of this tranny and post it in here?

Re: Need help identifying transmission Sign In

Sorry, I wasn't sure how to post a pic. My problem was solved on another forum. I believe what I have is a Dodge D50 Trans. Thank you for your time.
