Year of vehicle 1995 Make of vehicle Nissan Model of vehicle 200SX SS Engine size 1597 cc's? Miles ~197k Background Info: New driver to standard transmissions. Stalled out once at an intersection on a hill, during my trip for a job interview (roughly 30mi- round trip) Problem: Made a turn to go towards my uncle's house and the engine would not accelerate. The RPM's would kick up, but no change in speed, other than my momentum- about 15-20mph, then speed decreased down to ~2mph. What I've tried: Calling my uncle. Letting the car rest for 30-90mins. Tried to leave after the 90mins; same problem. --- No acceleration. Idea: Clutch burned out? o.O

Sounds like you answered your own question. The clutch is fried. You may want to look into trading the car for an automatic. You shouldn't but a car that you don't know how to drive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I didn't buy it. It was given to me. I asked for an automatic. But thanks for confirming my idea.
