Powertrain warranty

I need my transmission replaced and i am still under dodges 7/70,000 powertrain warranty. Problem is that I purchased the car used and have no records of maintinence. Does anyone know how I can get this replaced without them trying to screw me over?

They should be able to run the VIN and see if any repairs were completed at the Dodge dealers anywhere. If you explain you are second owner, they should not charge you. Talk to them. Usually a reasonable conversation yields good results.
