Re: Question Sign In

Don't answer it.....LOL

Ok,..sorry...
Anyway, can you tell/isolate where the sound seems to be coming from?
Front,engine area,rear,dash area?
I know its probably hard to tell at 40 mph....can you better describe the sound?
Does it seem to be affected by vehicle speed? in other words increase with speed, decrease on deceleration..?
Does it go away when braking?

Re: Question Sign In

Sound is coming from under the dash area, when you lift off the gas petal or apply the brake the sound stops.
It is a metal ringing sound.

Re: Question Sign In

Just thinking..
Have the brakes been check for wear?
Possibly the wear indicator on the brake pads sounding off.
That sound will go away with brakes applied.
Just a thought.
