have a 99 Dodge Durango, hit a pothole today. minutes later "Transmission temp" light and "o/d off"light came on. had just got in the vehicle 5 minutes before i hit the pothole. Now these lights blink on and off every couple of minutes with a beeping noise. Two weeks prior I had a computer diagnostic done and the only alert was "shift solenoid". (automatic)Don"t have any problems shifting, the truck drives fine. Can you please advise? Removed links from other forum

I would first check your fluid level, make sure it's at the proper level and that there are no obvious leaks.. I wouldn't drive it just in case the trans is actually overheating it will cause more damage. I would get it towed to a dealer or tranny shop and have it diag. Might just be a faulty temp sensor if you lucky.
