Hi
We have a N Reg Jeep Grand Cherokee 4ltr 4 x 4 and last week the pipe that carries the transission fluid came away and leaked fluid everywhere, we replaced the fluid and re-attached the pipe but have been experiencing trouble with the gearbox ever since. It wont shift from 1st gear and is making a strange groaning sound, any suggestions
Regards

Unfortunately, when you drive them low on fluid like that, sometimes permanent damage is done to the transmission. All you can do is verify that the fluid level is full at this time and if your still having a problem, your going to have to get a tranny shop involved to determine how serious it is.

It happened since that problem and the fluid was the only thing that changed at that point, assuming whoever fixed it didn't disconnect something.
