hey guys I have a 1994 Chevy C1500 2WD pickup with a 350. The problem I'm having is that everytime the truck leaves from a complete stop and shifts out of first into second gear, there's a "bite". Basically the transmission seems to jerk from first to second but all the other gears shift flawlessly. Could this be an issue with the valve body? The truck has 208k miles on it same engine and tranny it was born with. Take care of it and it'll take care of you!

Hello, Question, your chevy truck with the 350, is the 350 the transmission or the engine size. Gary

Hello, This should be a 4L60E Transmission, do you know if there are any codes present, if there are codes, it may elevate line pressure causing a hard shift. Gary

No codes. This has been going on for a couple years and hasn't caused any major hiccups persay but I know better than to think it may not turn into something bigger Take care of it and it'll take care of you!

Hello, Its possible it is the valvebody, i would like to see a pressure gauge hooked up to see what line pressure does on the 1-2 shift, There is also the 1-2 accumulator housing bolted next to the valvebody, possible the spring is broken causing the hard shift. Gary
