clutch problem Sign In

put new clutch slave cylinder in because clutch was sometimes sticking to the floor board and you had to actually pull it up with your foot. then you had to pump it to get it to come back. sometimes it is ok. doing same thing after installing clutch slave cylinder. but now also when you put it in gear sometimes it just slowly pulls away and i mean just slowly. 1991 mazda 626. not a turbo 5 speed. please help what else could it be? thank you for any information. pat

Hmmm? One down - I think the master cylinder is more responsible for the return of the pedal instead of the slave cylinder. Make sure it's bled now and then I think you'll find you need the master cylinder (clutch!)
