help please 2001 mazda b3000 trans issue Sign In

I have a 2001 b3000 with v6 3.0 5 speed manual trans 4x4 the problem is my trans builds pressure and after 20 min or so driving it will send air pressure into my cab from the shifter and sends trans fluide smell into my cab. I replaced the shifter housing cover which is that plate that covers the top of the trans, and has the ruber molded in the center which the Sh!ter goes threw it.I drove it for test then found out fluide was being pushed out under the cover.
So i took it back off and then this time i sealed it with gasket cement. Now it doesnt leak but it builds pressure and the smell will burst into the cab.
I think there should be a pressure valve somewhere on the trans but i cant find it. I then build my owne pressure valve. where the 3 rubber plugs are, added a hose to one of the plugs and ran the line up to enginge copartment. I thought i was all set untill after about 20 min of driving i smelled trans fluide i stoped
the truck and looked under and there was fluide blowing from the tube. So the fluilde traveled from the trans up high on the firewall to the hight of the valve cover of the engine. So how is that a manual trans can build such pressure. i have 139k on the trans. everything is good but this.
any help would great thanks Ernie

There should be a vent tube for the transmission it's probably plugged .. take off rubber hose and try to blow through.

Do you have a aftermarket shifter? After doing some research I found the shifter assembly acts as the manual transmission vent.. Aftermarket shifters may not allow the tranny to vent properly.

Also make sure its at proper level with proper fluid Calls for MERCON III.
