i have a 93 mx3 1.6 5 speed we have had trouble getting into 1st and shifting in general. so started looking around and noticed all the bushings were wore out so i replaced all bushings in the linkage and the bushing at the end of what i beleive is the control arm that runs along side the linkage? but now i have lost 1st and 2nd altogether. it fells like something is blocking that side of the transmision. i even unhooked the linkage and cant get into 1st or 2nd manually with a srewdriver.

That's usually caused because it hasn't come completely out of 3rd or 4th first. Your linkage is probably not adjusted correctly and now it's jammed.

Thanks, but I can drive it using 3,4,5,and reverse anything else that may help? The clutch has no slipping and all the hydraulic check out ok and no leaking anywhere.
