I have a 2007 dodge grand caravan with 47000 miles, basic model.

I feel a shuttering vibration at around 1500-2000 RPM`s at 30-40 MPH, and it does it on an even road and/or inclining.

I have brand new Michelin tires, and new front brakes. It did this before the brakes and after the new tires. The shuttering vibration is not in the steering wheel but felt throughout the van from the front.

This will be the 4th time the dealership will try to fix it. They replaced the torque converter and reset/updated the transmission computer chip.

Any suggestions?

Thank goodness for extended warranties! But is a hassle to bring in every week. I've only had this van for a little over a year!

weber; Try taking it out of overdrive and see if the problem goes away? Just a thought.

Well I'm sure they've looked at this and normally the failure isn't rpm specific but an inner cv joint of the axle vibrates under acceleration when failing and is smooth when coasting..... An outer joint clicks on turns when bad....

It's not in overdrive.

Can it do this in or out of overdrive?

I have not tried that. The dealership has the van now, last two days actually, trying to figure it out.
