Is their any difference between Valvoline products and BG products? I'm referring to the flush kits used on a transmission flush. This is a general question not vehicle specific.

Site has a real live trans tech just my 2 cents on flushing "automatic" transmissions. NO. I have a problem with yuk moving around getting all caught in the wrong places is just IMO for ages worse for one than just drain as best you can and refill properly. Filter if applicable while there again IMO if it's all plugged up you are in for an overhaul it doesn't heal.

The exception would be a try to remove a contaminant such as coolant getting mixed in by using a radiator's tank mixes up wrong fluids. Still that's usually the end of that trans by the time you notice.

This point can be argued and everyone be justified in doing this I don't and still find abuse the worst problem of "automatic" transmissions next to high heat,

Of course they are different. Is there a difference between a Mercedes and a Chevy?
I personally think BG products are the top of the line. They are made for the professional tech only, not the retail public.

Now, the question of whether you should be adding any of that stuff to your trans at all can be highly debated.
