well another up date. the 4.6 is in the ranger, had to do away with the heat+ A/C box for now , may have an idea for that, had to loose the steering box, not enough room to center the motor, and do an oil filter relocation unit, new steering will be rack and pinion, and won't be too hard to fab the mounts for it. also had to notch just the top part of the frame about 3/4 of an inch in, nice even reveal around the down pipe off the manifold, all the factory exhaust fits rather well, will add extra outer frame support just to insure no problems, still have to mock and configure motor mounts. when this is all done and final fit has been reached, then I pull it back out, and proceed to install all the factory harness that came out of the crown vic. minus any nonessential systems, such as back door, trunk release wiring, will be keeping anything that is for front doors. for future use. compiling lots of pic's and video, and will most likely be putting on youtube if I can get a certain someone to help edit it.

yes humor it's the only way to go, I have taken quite a bit negativity, on even considering doing this build. Sorry I'm not one for taking things that are said, can't be done. I'm just going to wait and see what happens when it goes for inspection, if I get a bunch of slack, one deals with it, have a friend very heave in judging, documentation ,and certifying all makes and models but primarily in corvet's , he has been out of it for several years, but does not see a problem getting this vehicle re certified, after all, they just check the parts as a hole, so long as they are all factory fit parts, as far as exhaust, emissions air bags, engine management system and they function to factory standards, meets the EPA regulations, there are no issues,
